Patches was relinquished by his owner, as he could no longer care for his horses. Patches is an older horse who spent his early years traveling around the country to horse shows. He was a well trained riding horse, who is now past those days. He is a nice manerly horse who stands well for hoof trimming and worming, he also doesn't mind the fly spray or the water hose. Patches has earned his rest. He would make a wonderful companion horse in a barn yard, or a pet. He would rather not be with a younger energetic horse, but would love a nice cozy barn and a grassy pasture where he can spend the remainder of his days being groomed and spoiled.
